Music to be treasured through time
Dedicated to past musicians who have inspired me, moved me, and in which I found something to treasure.
Jim Croce - He DID say “I love you in a song”
Jim Croce appeared to be one of those unassuming guys who was just incredibly talented. He was born January 10, 1943 in South Philadelphia.
Through a college (Villanova University) friend, he met Maury Muehleisen who would be his partner in many of the songs which made Jim Croce famous.
“Croce, 30, and Muehleisen, 24, died in a small commercial plane crash on September 20, 1973, one day before his third ABC album, I Got a Name was to be released.” (ref)
